Charlie MacArthur (she/they) is a dance artist working in Naarm and Gadigal. They undertook training at Sydney Dance Company’s Pre Professional Year in 2023 and 2024 and hold an Advanced Diploma of Dance. Throughout her training she performed new works by a broad range of choreographers including Frances Rings, Charmene Yap, James Batchelor, Prue Lang and Miranda Wheen. 

In 2024 Charlie debuted their first solo work At Your Own Risk as part of Sydney Fringe Festival and is currently developing her sophomore work to be presented in 2025. Through dance, she is inspecting her own imagination and sensuality while figuring out how to be a monster.
